Account and Data Deletion

Use this page to request deletion of Numbra VPN account-related data.

Delete in the app

Open the app, go to the Profile tab and tap Delete account. If your account has no Telegram linked, it is deleted at once. If Telegram is linked, our bot sends you a message in Telegram and nothing is deleted until you reply there with the word shown in that message; if you do not reply, the request expires on its own after 15 minutes.

How to request deletion by email

  1. Email supportumbervpn@gmail.com with the subject line Data deletion request.
  2. Include your identifier. Open the app, go to the Profile tab and find the line labeled Identifier for a data-deletion request under your device name. Tap that line to copy the full identifier to your clipboard, then paste it into the email — paste the whole thing, since a shortened or partial identifier cannot be matched to your account. If the app is already uninstalled, write from the same email or support channel you used with Numbra VPN and say roughly when you installed the app.
  3. Do not email passwords, private keys, payment card numbers, or other secrets.

Data deleted

Deletion ends every session and recovery secret of the account and revokes its VPN access on every device, so the device keys and in-tunnel addresses stop working at once. It deletes the account's support conversation, and it erases the fields that could identify you: Telegram id, username, first and last name, language code, and your referral code.

What remains is a remnant stripped of the identifying fields above: the random account identifier, the revoked device and VPN records (device model, public key, and the in-tunnel address that was assigned), the rewards record, the invitation links between this account and other accounts, the private labels on those links (any label you gave a friend in your own invite list, and any label another user may have given you in theirs), and a record that the deletion took place.

An irreversible hash of the device identifier also remains after deletion — in the revoked device record and in the invitation record. It serves only to protect against abuse, so that the same phone cannot be counted as an invited friend twice, and it cannot be turned back into the identifier.

Deletion does not erase those labels. If you wrote a friend's name or anything else personal in a label in your invite list, clear or change it in the app before you delete your account.

If you gave us an email address to receive news, deletion erases the address and the subscription. An irreversible fingerprint of the address and the time of the last email are kept for up to 48 hours, so that someone else's mailbox cannot be flooded with emails; after that they are erased too.

Data retained when required

Numbra VPN may retain limited records when necessary for security, abuse prevention, chargeback handling, accounting, legal compliance, or unresolved support disputes. Retained records are kept only for as long as needed for those purposes.

Backups. We regularly make backups of the database and keep them for a limited time. One person's data cannot be erased from a backup that already exists, so everything you delete, including a deleted account, disappears from backups by itself — within 45 days at the latest.

After deletion

Deleted devices will no longer be able to use existing VPN provisioning. You may need to reinstall the app or create a fresh session to use Numbra VPN again.
