Encryption

Traffic intercepted today can be stored, and years from now, once quantum computers arrive, someone may try to decrypt it. That's why Numbra's main protocol is additionally protected by the post-quantum ML-KEM-768 key exchange — against “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks. The protection works in recent versions of the app.
